Tootsie Pop Treat Ghosts

My granddaughter, Zare, wanted to take treats to school on Friday for a Halloween treat for her Kindergarten classmates.  We could have just sent a bag of Halloween candy or bags of pretzels in the shape of Halloween ghosts and goblins (from Sam’s Club) but my daughter wanted me to do a craft with her.  These Tootsie Pop Ghosts are a fun easy Halloween craft.

What you will need:

5 inch squares of cheesecloth

Small google eyes

Ribbon (orange, black, and purple)

Tootsie pops

Tacky glue

Scissors

Step one  Wrap the pops with 3 - 4 layers of the 5 inch squares of cheesecloth.  The squares of cheesecloth do not need to be cut perfectly.  These are raggedly ghosts after all.

Step two  Tie a little ribbon around the stick of the tootsie pop to secure the cheesecloth cloth.

Step three  Add a drop of Tacky glue to the back of each google eye and attach to the cheesecloth.

Now the little ghosts are done.  Doing this project brought back such sweet memories of the times I did this with my own children when they were in school.

Happy Halloween!
